Please help!

Hi guys, I originally had the game on ps4 but due to a relationship breakdown the ex fb took the ps4 boo anyway, I downloaded the game on my PC. My PC is very basic. I've lowered everything I can on the settings but the game is still very bitty and laggy. It takes forever just to load one bit of ul'dah to another.

Do you guys have any ideas what I can do I really love this game and want to be able to play it but I don't have the first clue what I would have to buy if I do need to buy bits for the computer.

DO you know the specs on your PC? like RAM, what video card it has, cpu speed

I did buy the ps4 but it was as a gift lol! It does suck but never mind

Erm my ram is 3gb and my graphics is intel something I'll have to check in a min, do you think my only option is buying new graphic card etc?

The problem may be the cpu speed, if its not at the minimum requirements, you're probably better off buying a new PS4

If your graphics card is intel hd video that is the problem. It essentially means you have no graphics card and the main cpu is doing double duty as a gpu as well.

A lot of this depends. While yes if you have intel hd video in your desktop, buying a real graphics card is going to help. However you didn't really state the rest of the specs. It could be that even though that would help other parts of the computer would still hold you back.

For instance what exactly is your cpu, since you have intel hd video as a graphics chip it seems, you should have at least an i3 (I'm pretty sure this is the first model that had that chip). While an i3 can run FF14 it's not recommended, it's recommended to use an i5 or better. Since it is an i3 or better that also means that it's an 64 bit system which means that the min recommended spec is 4gb of ram and you said you only have 3. This means that you might have several upgrades that are needed to bring the computer up to "spec"

Just to say I'm not very good with computers I don't know if I can download drivers to help this or if I have to buy a new graphics card etc so any help would be great. Sorry about this guys
