    So I got a Goblin Mask off MB, not a Goblin Cap. I can't wear it...

    So I got a Goblin Mask:

    I'm fairly sure it's a 1.0 item... But I haven't yet found any information about it. I did hear on reddit that someone reported getting one from a venture. I assume that's how it ended up on the market board.

    Something interesting is the flavor text on it is identical to the Goblin Mask item in XI...

    It's a mystery! Can you guys figure out what it's for? Some new event?

    Junk or treasure? My guess is junk...but maybe I can desynth it when that comes out next patch?(That is the closest to figuring this out as I've come so far.)

    Junk, just like half the stuff they left in from 1.0 that they shouldn't... Why weren't things like Lunar Curtains and Beastcoins turned into Gil along with things like arrows? Really odd... When I first logged into 2.0 I had several 100k extra from junk being turned into Gil, yet I still had plenty of junk around which I'm now paranoid to do anything with because "they must have left this for a reason...."

    Hopefully all the junk items can be desynthed. That would be a really nice way to give Fish a purpose again by reintroducing the Fish > Shards recipes.

    SE has had market board links to stuff that didn't exist in game for a while now. Like in the case of the fledgling apkallu, before 2.28 came out with the Sightseeing log the minion was viewable on the market board for quite a while before 2.28 even came out.. Also, there are beastmen tokens for the goblins and Ixali (much the same as the tokens from certain fates for beastmen daily quests like the kobold, and Amal'jaa) yet the Ixali and Goblins don't yet have beastment dailies....
