they wanted DoL to throw rocks at the active mobs then run like hell and get back to gathering spots while the mob is away.

while that seems ridiculous, it IS a tactic and a very old one at that, that many instances and parties use =O
i wouldnt be surprised if thats really the case. Or else DoL would be too easy. Just travel and click.
