Skill Point Rewards from completing Quests don't apply to shield :(

You have three classes you can use to rank up your shield. The sp gained while fighting mobs on those other two classes should make up for the SP not gained by completing quests. I'm sure that's what they were thinking anyway.

Still want a legitimate answer, as do many on here.
