Dunno that case, but you don't need a fake marriage system(that could be rped out anyway) on a video game to lure and kidnap people. Lol. If you want to block anyone from the chance of that happening then you'll pretty much have to block the whole internet.
This. This right here.
No but setting a age restriction in place helps out a little, encouraging and letting kids marry someone older and then that bond grows and they get real feelings for each other and decide to take it further.
Who's fault would that be, trust me this stuff happens and it could turn out bad. It happened on nintendo DS.
People actually meet on games and feelings grow also, yes the marriage system is fake but what goes on behind the scenes isn't.
you are against preventing adults with minors? Almost sounds like you are for it.
Wouldn't have to block the whole internet just set a age limit. doesn't matter if its fake or not, the two people controlling these characters arent fake.
A fake marriage system in a fantasy world on the internet doesn't "encourage young people to marry older people". Lol. It may encourage some people to marry. Maybe. You don't need a fake marriage system to develop feelings for people on the interwebs. All you need is a platform to talk. That's partly why there's already age restrictions on playing MMOs in the first place.
Also I am a minor. I don't think I should be pointlessly locked out of content.

I see this as a form of "adult content"
I am not paranoid because I know whats right from wrong, yes I do believe that kids should be locked away from adult content even in Sims its considered adult content.
Yes its a fantasy world but has real people playing behind the characters. if there weren't anyone playing the characters this game wouldn't even exist. so the fantasy world argument to me doesn't mean anything.
People have been busted for stuff in games. anyways that's the end of my rant about this, I still think there should be age limit.
