I'm surprised, where did all the support for equal rights and choices go? I was under the assumption we were all about equality for everyone around here, and the freedom for game mechanics to support multiple lifestyles especially ones that are backed up by in-game lore.

I guess we're fine with some forms of equality while openly dismissing others

Equal rights only goes as far as those arguing for it, anything past what they want they just laugh at, dismiss, and insult others for "crossing lines."

Unfortunately people feel the need to bring all the crap of real life into a game. Just drop the marriage system. Be LGBT, be poly, we don't have to know. We want to know if you can dodge landslide. No wonder there are misanthropists..

SE hasn't actually brought in "marriage"...it's "life bonding", which was a clever answer to the whole "equal rights" thing. Unfortunately we now have the OP raising another "alternative" albeit rare and mostly illegal and wanting "equal rights". Where did the rp go in mmorpg?
