Besides this joking thread they should have Limits to this marriage thing.

I believe they should put a age limit 18+, I say this because 14 year old marrying a 30 year old woman or 14 year old kid marrying a 30 year old man.

You cannot marry your brother/sister or any family member, which is crosses the line.

    just saying.

It isn't. But then again what I once thought were jokes turned out to be dead serious.

I'm not entirely sure how that system would work to be honest, obviously it's wrong for those situations to happen but in Eorzea no matter what your character is of legal consenting age so unless you play on a very specific RP server I don't see how those rules apply in game

In regard to the OP, I support your wish to have this added into the game or have it added in a future patch so long as this doesn't slow down the 2.4 marriage patch, I think you should marry as many cat men or cat ladies as you want

Never once did I say I disagree with it. What is trolling and what is disrespectful is you are using vague bullet points that the same sex debate used. You are not giving any unique or though out reasons for debate. Your responses are phrases like "sympathetic to our plight" and "Thanks for the support guys!!". No one talks like that. You are sarcastically echoing the same-sex debate in the form of a joke. What is wrong with people?

No one's buying your charade OP. You you may think your argument is brilliant but it's obviously a pathetic attempt at trolling.

They said it makes more sense, they didn't say gay marriage made no sense. Breathe...

This would only work if you are a male seeker of the sun Miqo'te who did some trials to earn the rights to be a Nunh.

Males do not take family names, as they are each considered the ‘origins’ of new families. In place of a family name, they are given a title that denotes their tribe, and their position within it. For a male Seeker of the Sun, there are only two positions available—breeding males (nunh – pronounced ‘noon’) and all others (tia – pronounced ‘tea-ah’). All males are born as tia. At any time in their lives, a tia can challenge the tribe nunh to battle. If the tia is victorious, he takes the nunh’s place as tribe breeding male (until he is challenged and defeated), and the nunh becomes a tia once again (if he survives the ordeal). This is done to ensure that the tribe’s offspring are of the finest stock. Depending on its size, a tribe may have multiple nunh (a ratio of one nunh per ten to fifty females is average).

There is only one other way a tia can become a nunh, and that is to leave his tribe, and start his own. This, of course, requires several females to accomplish, and most female Seekers of the Sun are rarely impressed by a male who cannot defeat a nunh.

Nunh status does not equate to leadership within a tribe, and in fact, very few nunh ever become leaders.
If you are not a male seeker of the sun miqo'te and don't have the Nunh title, no harem for you
