Petition to support polygamous marriage (when the system is released).

It's safe to say that most have heard the news that not only will we be getting marriage around the release of patch 2.4, but that we will also be able to have same sex marriage. I think most would agree this is very progressive of the SE team, but I ask you, is that enough?

Let's read what Yoshi P. himself said about the marriage system:

We are aiming for a 2.4 release of a system where the people living in Eorzea can pledge their love and/or friendship for each other with another player. And because you are pledging love and friendship we don't want there to be any barriers that prevent people of a certain age or race or gender from being able to pledge their love for one another.

The way he speaks of it, it is not a binding of one player to ONLY one other player. But rather, a way for us to PLEDGE OUR LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP. Isn't it possible for us to love and be friends with more than one person? This is why I am wanting to discuss this topic, because it is very near and dear to my heart.

I have many male friends who are all gorgeous Miq'ote that I love dearly. I would consider them all my close friends. How can I just pick one and tell them that I want to pledge to them MORE THAN ALL THE OTHERS? Why can't I just have a beautiful Miq'ote harem that is full of love and friendship from multiple partners?

If you support my idea please like and share this post. We still have a lot of time before this system is realsed, and hopefully with enough community response we can make the dreams of polygamous marriage and harems a reality.

tl;DR - Please, Yoshida-san, allow us to have the option for polygamous marriage when the system is released. Don't make us choose between our friends, but rather let us combine our love as one beautiful bond.

It's bad enough that I have to tell my kids that it's okay for a Roedagyn to marry and Miqote, or that one catboy can make sweet manlove to another, but how am I supposed to explain this? Just when you think you've seen it all, someone like the OP comes along and proves otherwise. Although I'm indifferent on the whole marriage thing I think it was good on SE to allow anyone and everyone to enjoy it, which was a pretty bold move, though respectable. And yet people continue to push for more lol
