I've been thinking about buying on ebay one of those PS4 pre-order promo codes for the Mog Cap, from what I've read it's the only way to get the hat atm, are those codes still redeemable?

Even if they are I'd be constantly worried about it being fake or used already :/ I'm hoping the pre-order bonus will apply to the expansion when it becomes available

Pre-order bonus was moogle cap and Cait Sith doll, if I remember correctly. There was a time limit to redeem pre-order code, but I do not remember the date.
