Master Fisher's Ring

So I spent hour grinding away at area after area and finally completed the achievement "I Caught That III" and collected 160 unique fish. But the ring was not put in my inventory nor do i have the option to buy it from the Calamity Salvager NPCs. Any thoughts?

As with any and all achievement rewards, you pick it up from the guy in Apkallu Falls (just north of the Amphitheater) in Old Gridania.

The Master Fisher's Ring is pretty dumb though.

Ahhhhhhhhh okay. yeah but it makes me feel special :3 already have fully maxed out materia gear, so not a huge difference

Master Fisher ring, gives GP and is not meld-able, so its useless.

Just like all master rings. Nice for your 1st char, as soon as your chars are equipped with Materia, they are all useless.

ALL crafter and gatherer best equipment except for head and main-hand tool are bought on the marketboards or crafted yourself. Your first level 50 main hand tool you get from your level 50 class quest.

Once you have these, meld a crazy amount of materia into them. You are now ready to gather/craft special token items that you can turn in for the best head equipment (Forager's Hat for DoL, Artisan's Spectacles for DoH) and the best main-hand tool (Forager's tools and Artisan's tools).

Fisher's tokens (HQ Silver Sovereigns) are BY FAR the most frustrating to collect. You'll need ten of them for the hat, and twenty for the Forager's Rod. You can expect to get maybe one or two HQs in an hour of fishing. On the upside, Fisher equipment doesn't need nearly as much melding, since they have no use for GP and have no off-hand tool to meld.
