Unable to transfer character?

Hey everyone, so recently I decided to create a new character but seeing as my subscription only allows one character per server I had to create them on a different one, which was fine! I only created that character so I could play when my friends weren't online. However I really like the character now and decided to transfer her over to our main server (Lamia) but I only got as far as choosing the world.
It keeps telling me:
"There are no characters available for World Transfer. One or more characters have been confirmed on this World. 1 character(s) may still be transferred."
I checked all the requirements for changing servers and my character fits the bill so I don't understand why it gives me this message. Hopefully someone here has had the same issue in the past and has had it resolved or someone can help me. I've searched all over the forums and contacted customer support (still waiting for a reply there)

If you can't have more than one character on a server you can't transfer a character onto a server that one is currently on. You would have two characters on a sever, which you said your subscription wouldn't allow.

No, no I had deleted the character on the server that I want my new character to transfer too :P In fact I had deleted it 2 days ago :s
