    Bring back the lightning strikes twice in eorzea event!

    They should bring it back once again since its occured twice now but not during the Ps4 release of ARR so the people who waited to pick up the game on ps4 (such as myself) missed out not once, but twice

    As much as us PS4 players complain that it wasn't fair..it wont come back. That has even been stated. Don't bother complaining, because there are people here that will attack you like a pack of wild dogs for it. Let alone people will talk like we had a chance when in reality a lot of us didn't. (My computer can NOT handle this game) and I couldn't get another PS3 due to a lot of financial problems. So no, I didn't have the slightest chance at all. lol

    As has been said, SE always said it was only a short-term thing connected to the launch of Lightning Returns - it was just cross-marketing (hence why it occurred twice, to coincide with the Japanese and US/European launches of LR: FFXIII), and was never meant to be a permanent quest line. So although there's nothing stopping SE bringing it back at a later date, I doubt very much they ever will.

    Incidentally, I find it funny that the FFXIII event is constantly being requested to return, yet hardly anyone asks for the similar FFXI and Dragon Quest crossover events to return. Figures I guess...

    Well i wanted to get it on ps3 having played the beta and all, but i wanted to wait for the ps4 release since i knew id have nothing else to play on my ps4. A decision i regret and am happy i made at the same time since otherwise my ps4 would be a fancy $400 dust collector lol.

    They should just make the gear drop from ventures; they've done it with another exclusive reward you couldn't get now, and wouldn't exactly be game-breaking.

    Agrees! I do retainers over six characters daily so would love this, as some of them are new and never got to experience it.
