Try visiting the Calamity Salvager in one of the main cities and see if one of the weapon options there let you buy it back.

Yeah, like this the relic doesn't feel like a relic.

What I really loved in FFXI relic progression was how you went from a worthless piece of scrapmetal more and more to a useable piece, and the more you progressed the more the weapon "interacted" with you.
Now it is "Get scrap metal, make some cast to fit scrap metal, kill 2 fairly easy "boss" encounters, do 1 dungeon, kill 20 mobs, kill 3 primals. With Titan HM being the hardest of this,and Titan HM's weapon being better as the non Zenith weapons (and better than some zenith) I felt kinda rolled.

Now the Atma grinding. Fate after Fate after Fate after fate and so on. Only being able to do Dynamis all 3 days, and hoping to be luck to get enough currency so the run wasn't a monetary failure. Still after a run you were certain to have a certain amount of currency in addition to useful gear. You needed to play with othes and be able to trust them.

No matter how much it sucked to grind Dynamis, it sucked less than grinding Fates as level 50 in lwvel 1-46 zones

Im level 50 whm I accidentally deleted my relic weapon is there any way possible of getting it back some how? Because I cant do the up in arms quest are anything of that nature is there anyway to make it or are there other optins ingame to get it ? Need help please thanks lho'a Obera is my characters name

You can buy a base relic from the Special NPC vendors in each city. They're like 50k gil.

Zenith, given how much Myth is required everyone else now, 600 Myth would be just perfect I think.

Atma's, 9 would've felt just right imo.

Overall I agree but....

for the Zenith that would place it cheaper than legs/bp which IMO it shouldn't be (since weapon is single largest upgrade you can get) so 900 seems right to me. Also that is 3 days of doing your dailies which isn't bad.
Atma I don't think the # is the problem but the method. I'm fine with RNG but I feel the way it is introduced for the atma is flawed.

1. We already feel insulted with the tedious task of doing things like LEVEL 4 FATES. Make it a rare spawn level 50 FATE in each zone that has say a 20% drop rate and I'd be much happier personally.

2. The tedium causes many people to not even try just because they go out their 1st try and spend 4 hours spamming level 4 fates and see 0 progress.


The myth for the books/alex are really the only things that I just hate. If we were getting myth at the same rate we were getting philo sure. But we aren't. Doing 5000 dungeons runs (or taking so long with dailies that by the time you get the animus/novus 3 more steps have been added) is a problem. I'm suffering through it. But id sell my kidney to actually have a EPIC quest (like EQ or FFXI). Where I felt I was DOING something instead of just farming ilvl 50 dungeons until my eyes bleed.

I'm working on novus for my white mage and I'm about to start my first book on my summoner.
The only thing I really agree with in this post is that the books are too much. The rest is fine

I have finished my Animus for white mage, and done two melds for Novus. I personally believe that 800 Myth for ONE map/Alexandrite is ridiculous. I also began my scholar Animus and completed the first book last night. Because of this, I won't be spending a single Myth on maps I have scholar Animus in hand.
