Nah. I don't believe in pampering people. I do believe in giving them some helpful tips if they are obviously having difficulty, though. I'm not going to get mad at a newbie in a low level dungeon for not quite having a handle on how his class works. He's a newbie. By definition, he is new to his role. The first few dungeons are simple because they're learning experiences. I'm sure I was terrible in my first dungeon despite having an understanding of basically what a tank does and having read through my skill descriptions.

People that respond to my helpfulness with "Don't tell me how to play my class!!!" can get bent, though. Always funny when the tank tells me "You're a scholar, what do you know about tanking?!" when my main is PLD.

ill never understand the mentality of not watching vids or learning a class.

They tell new players and first timers the same crap that the others will. Except vids are nice about it.

Honestly, some people don't get much out of guides and videos. I know I learn better by hands-on experience.
