Stop acting like it makes any sense and posting the same stuff. If you can't see how bad this is for pvp and the players then i don't know what to say. But the last thing we want is frontlines to end up dead like Wolfs Den and this stuff will not help.I remember way back in beta being told it would impact PVP someday with frontlines, but for NOW it didnt matter aside from cosmetics. Since you can freely change your GC, that was a true statement at launch. But they have always talked about it impacting PVP and now that day is here. Yoshida gave interviews dated april 2013 talking about it, they talk about in game. The PVP windows in game make a deal out of which one your in.
Now I do agree it is annoying. I understand all the cons of the situation. I just dont understand the ruckus at this point when its been clear for a long time. People need to ask for rank to swap with your GC, which is a valid point and stop acting like its the end of the world and this makes no sense cause its been planned this way since beta.
Take a step back and look at what I said and what you said. I AGREE THAT IT IS LIKELY A BAD. again, for shits and giggles - I AGREE ITS A BAD IDEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I knew about this last year though. I dont understand why other didn't. Its not a HUGE surprise at all, for any reason. They clearly stated it over and over. Why didnt anyone say something a year ago, a month ago or a week ago. This isnt new news by any means. They have designed it this way and were open and honest way about about their intentions. Ask for rank to be separated from GC, or it to transfer aside from Achievements and other stuff, but lets not all act like it was sprung out of nowhere.
#cough#
/walks away.
Oh yes because everyone is here since beta and everyone reads the forums. Nonsense.
You know if the PVP menus in game weren't organized by Grand Company and achievements and everything else I might agree. However, even in game, never reading interviews or forums or reading quest texts, a rational person would notice the tie. That doesnt make it right, or anything of the sort. But it is obvious.
I give up on you.You know if the PVP menus in game weren't organized by Grand Company and achievements and everything else I might agree. I vote yes on this petition, 100%
It wouldn't bother most but would honestly "Not participate in the Frontlines if they restricted it to GC."
The interesting thing is if they decide to follow through with GC restrictions because of LORE- go ahead and restrict Wolves Den PvP to GC based.
SE you also restricted class comps; can't go in with w.e you desire, you depreciate group play. LOL, what else do you have in store to surprise us with this little thought of a installation..?
Will just go play Wildstar PvP lol.

You do realize all I am trying to say is, instead of asking for them to change something that has been worked on for a long time and clearly planned to work this way, to ask them to make it "user friendly" for people to swap GC to play with friends. Its much easier to allow that than to change the very foundations of what they planned frontlines to be. Letting rank transfer makes sense and shouldnt be as much work as redoing everything about frontlines.
Little do you know, Frontlines may be coming out. Nonetheless, switching GC just to play with friends is a direct hindrance. First off, switching GC puts you on a 30 day CD to switch back, second off if you're 30+ or even 40 you lose access to your PvP gear for Wolves Den or any sort of Glamour that you may enjoy. Lastly, as I said 30 day to revert and switching to another FC is a measly 100,000gil that we shouldn't have to commit to.You know...
So... What's the problem? Just switch Grand Company for Frontlines. Your Rank stays with the Grand Company right? If you switch back it isn't reset, is it? Just organize with your friends which to join, it's not like Rank will mean anything for the next few weeks, seeing as Wolves' Den is going to have terrible queue times until the Frontlines hype dies down.
Go, and spend some time with some botters, or people in Ilvl 55 gear commit some hours into the WD and then come make this post again. get over 2500+ games and then make this post.
Eh... That's not exactly a strong argument. You know if the PVP menus in game weren't organized by Grand Company and achievements and everything else I might agree. However, even in game, never reading interviews or forums or reading quest texts, a rational person would notice the tie. That doesnt make it right, or anything of the sort. But it is obvious.
If you're from the past and cannot keep up to date on something you enjoy, there is no real way of knowing this was coming. The skills menu indicates nothing, nor do achievements. Those are just there for completionist to suffer with. Quests and the sort even give the exact opposite impression; the whole "And now the Grand Companies are fighting again" is literally coming out of the blue with 2.3. It's had no build up in previous updates. Nothing in Wolves' Den indicates such a change, if anything it gives the opposite impression as well; it isn't Grand Company v Grand Company.
That said, it's 2014. Seriously. Who the hell isn't able to keep up to date on this kind of stuff? You'd have to be damned casual not to have been looking for Frontlines news where ever you could, and if that's the case, I doubt you care about switching Grand Company and losing your does-nothing Rank. You don't even need every single person to keep up to date on this sort of stuff. None of my FC/Friends do, I've literally organized it so we're all in the same Grand Company for Frontlines since before we started PvPing. I completely agree with you, I have no idea why this is such a surprise for some many here.
