    [Lore] Limsa Lominsa Opening Question

    Does anybody know where the boat in the first main scenario quest of Limsa Lominsa was coming from? It's been bugging me for a while.

    Good question. I can think of two obvious possibilities:
    - Vesper Bay on the Thanalan coast; or
    - Sharlayan, for reasons that may be considered spoilers (can be shown below).

    Y'shtola (& Thancred/Yda/Papalymo) appears to be from Sharlayan and she arrives in Limsa the same time you do.


    There may be other possibilities, of course.

    It was revealed to me just now that Y'shtola
    is indeed a Sharlayan Emmissary


    As i believe that the boat is Y'shtola's, i'd guess thats were it is sailing from, just a guess though.

    I don't think so. The boat belongs to Hob, not to Y'shtola, she's just a passenger like all the others on the ship, including you.

    Not only LL, but Ul'dah too, along with Gridania, all show your character coming from an unknown location. It's so you can fill in your own thoughts about your characters past lol.
