I usually have Garuda on Place and Obey so she only uses Wind Blade. Put her on follow when you dodge Dive/Slam. When the add comes out then you can use the other move and Shockwave if you need to interrupt a Dreadstorm. It's not really that stressful as SMN as you can multi-dots the plumes when they're up or more advanced stuffs would be let the tank pull the add to the head, Bane your DOTs on it. You can also do it reversely and put DOTs on the add and bane on the head/tail.

Simple, do not Sprint. You don't need Sprint to dodge dive or slam. There are 3 points (2 points for dive, 1 point for slam) you can stand on that will allow you to dodge every single dive/slam with minimal movement.
The point for slam is dead center, zoom out your camera all the way facing North or South so you can see both sides of the boat in front of you. If you hear the water sprouts but don't see it, run forward, otherwise, run backward. Dodge it everytime. You only need to run 3/4 of the way to the N/S edge of the boat.
The points for dive are on the N and S side of the dead center point, on the edge of the little circle in the middle. If he dives N/S, run left/right. If he dives across the boat, run forward and backward. The key is to bait the water weights so that your center is free of them and don't kill anyone.
