Are you sure your attitude isn't to be blamed? Sounds like you don't like playing with anyone who makes a mistake or is new. Why don't you try helping them instead of just giving up? Another option why don't you find a hardcore FC or static?

I m happy to see all of your answers.I changed the server once and i had the same problem so i just started to find friends but the problem is that i can t always have 7 friends to form a full friendly party then i had to find a FC. And that's what disappointed me the most. I looked after several FCs on forums and guess what, their members are always, i say always, too busy for something else. I remember the last days before leaving trying to create a Triathlon activity with some puzzle, chrono crafting, etc. I received answers like " Atma farming, dailies..... "
And still, even when i wanted to focus on some raids, some members of the FC didn t have the experience and were not willing to learn.I mean, i played MMOs since 2005 with Wow and Archlord and i never had this issue with the community. In these games i just quote above, i was so happy to talk and doing crap activities with friends and guilds.
Thrust me, i regret leaving this MMO.
I never give up when i see a new player. But as a human, i have my limits. A player disrespect while coming into a raid without having any knowledge of what s going on is totally disrespectfull.
For the second part of your quote, i used to be in HM guilds during my wow period. Now that i don t have enough time to invest in the " perfectionnism " required by these guilds ( the farming and gear management outside the raid times ), that s a problem.
Good, this game doesn't need people like you here. The community is bad, people don't know how to play or are not calm enough to surpass mistakes.
Even now, i know 200 % T5 and i can't farm it because of the others......
I m disappointed to leave this game i loved so much but the community is really an occurence to me and to my subscription.

I play on a small server. I can count the number of people who can clear high level content on one hand, but honestly, it is what you make of it. I got frustrated like you mainly because the community had no motivation to do t5, or primals. Anything. I got lucky and got invited to a high level content linkshell, it's how I beat the extreme primals, but I still had issues getting a coil group. Know what I did? I formed my own.
My statics on t9 now, we've been together since t5. My point is, the game is what you make of it. So what if you don't always have 7 other people to do stuff with. That doesn't make the community bad, you can find tons of other things to do while you wait on them, etc. It takes some investment, and time, and patience, but it's worth it when you're progressing and enjoying the game with people who are your friends. I think you just need to chill out a bit and stop expecting people to move at your pace.
Oh, I did. You said that you don't have the time to devote to match other people's criteria for running stuff, yet you want everyone else to conform to yours. Sorry, but you're not going to find pity here. What are you hoping to accomplish with this thread? Is SE supposed to beg you not to leave and threaten anyone who doesn't meet your level of skill with a ban?
It would be one thing if you were saying "the community is full of nasty people with nasty attitudes and thus I am leaving". Instead, you're saying "I can't commit the time so I can join a FC with the people who can down new content, and every other single player in the game does not meet my standard." Everything you have posted just screams that the people you play with won't do everything the way you want to do it. If you're going to leave the game that's fine; but don't act like it's the communities fault.
From my experience, guilds are going to be hit and miss. You'll have to do a lot of scouting and probably go through multiple guilds before finding one that fits you.
As for servers, I know people who transferred from larger servers like Balmung and Excalibur and they always comment on how terrible PFs on my server are compared to their old one's (e.g. you can pug T6 and T7 there but good luck ever getting through anything on Ultros). Transferring is definitely worth trying if you're looking for "higher quality" players.

If you think this community is bad, try playing league of legends.
