2+Hours for a Dungeon?

I've been waiting for over 2hours to do Shadow and Claw. I've seen 4 DPS' every 30 mins, I've only seen 1 tank at the 110min mark and 1 healer at 125mins.

How on earth does the Duty Finder work? Do people that go with Roulette only match with Roulettes? If not then how can, after 2 hours, I be still at the bottom of this queue?

The "Average" wait time is 12 mins so what gives?

people can jump ques grouping dps with tank and entering, and thats a really unpopular guildhest, and the guildhest roulette gives pretty crappy rewards, so i don't find this suprising

People just don't really do guildhests, even for roulettes.

I would do guildhest roulette every day if it awarded allagan tomestones, but it does not. Once I hit the maximum levels on all classes I never felt compelled to do guildhests any more. Even if it awarded just 15 mythology tomes I would probably do it, since it doesn't take very long to complete.

As DPS you can always expect long waiting times in DF. To speed up matching try as much as possible from bellow:

1. Select all languages and Join in progress option in DF.
2. If you have any friend who is tank or healer ask them to party with you so you can join together.
3. Try to queue up right or soon after the daily roulette reset time.

Even though you don't speak the other languages, I'm presuming, select all four languages. That speeds things up in my experience. I leveled up tank jobs so I was spoiled...now I just realize how spoiled I truly was.

So is Roulette a separate queue or does it 'bunny-hop' you to any queue that requires your role?

Duty Roulette just fills up needed slots for dungeons / trials independent if other players queued up for specific ones or "random" one via DR. The reason for suggesting to queue up after the DR reset is that many pepople do roulettes at that time.

The latter. It does its best to try to slot the player in wherever they're needed.

Sadly, the high level guildhests are a pain to get into, especially if you're DPS. If it weren't for the game requiring the level 30 hests during postgame, most people wouldn't even have them unlocked, I think.

The problem with the heist is that after you run it once there is no reason to do it again. The XP is bad and only the first time completing it gives you any decent XP. This causes it even longer for DD and really not worth it, you can run 2 dungeons in that time and get so much more xp.
