PS4 Game Freezes When Loading in Character

Got excited and bought myself a PS4. Went to the Mog Station and upgraded from PS3 to PS4 and installed the game on the new system. I also have a PC code as well. So while it was installing I played for a bit on my computer.

When it was all done I logged off and got everything set up on the PS4. Clicked PLAY and entered CHARACTER SELECT. Picked my MAIN and off to the loading screen. Within 10 seconds the screen freezes. Eventually I am booted out to the PS4 menu with ERROR CE-36329-3. I looked it up and people say to wipe the system and re-install. So I did. Still happening.

Anyone have this problem or know of a way to fix it?

Have you transferred your local configuration from PS3 to PS4 (using the Button in the bottom right corner of the launcher)? Try to delete / remove the Game saves for FF XIV - this error could be caused by damaged save file. Is it the same with any other character (if you have more than one)?

I have not. I went to go do that and the screen looks legit but there are no characters there. I only have the one character btw. My PS3 is already sold. There was no information stating that I still needed my PS3 to transfer data.

How can I delete save data on the PS4. Still new to it all.

So I talked to a Enix rep in the customer chat and he said that when we upgrade from PS3 to PS4 all the the info is good to go. He said it was my ports or my internet not taking priority for the PS4. Sounds so wack. Once I mentioned that I could play my character on the PC just fine, he was baffled and told me to check the port thing and mentioned they were closed and ended the chat. Has no one else had this problem to help me out? Does that port thing actually make sense?

Ok think I may have an answer. My problem still isnt fixed but the solution could be there. I talked to a Sony PS4 rep and explained my issue. After all was said and done he mentioned that they are experiencing many issues with the Playstation Network right now and downloading things from it can cause files to be corrupted, which is perhaps why im getting the corrupt error code, so until that is resolved I should just wait it out. So until the PSN gets fixed up I should just wait it out. He said they are not sure of when it will be fixed but they will make an announcement on the website and twitter. Crazy right.
