    /sh not working

/sh has not been working for me in macro or regular typed out text. I have it active and have talked via /sh before but recently when I use it and then check my roomies screen, nothing appears. He gets other ppls but it doesn't work on either of my computers or accounts.

/sh /shout and what not just doesn't work. Is this a bug or am I just doing something completely dumb? Checked google and others have had a similar issues and nothing is wrong with my filters since it seems to work on occasion, but mostly it just doesn't.

update. it seems to happen only when I am recruiting for my fc. If I am just chatting regularly it goes thru ok.

Are there restrictions on what you can put in a /sh? Cause I have no site links or anything offensive or remotely close to that nor do I spam it like crazy, just a random /sh here and there. Roomie and another fc member tried it too with the same results. We cant figure this out.

There are restrictions on /sh or /shout. You can only use it by itself to change chat modes to shout and it will revert to your previous chat mode after you shout once.

That's incorrect - I have (functional) macro with /sh *some text to shout* and it works just fine and I'm also able directly use /sh *some text* from the chat box independent of what chat mode I'm in.
