hm... so they are planning to reveal 1st expanion after 2.4.
Well then guess we just have to survive until after 2.4 for 1st expansion info in Fan Fest

I'd like to meet one of these " professional monks" and slap them for making the devs think skill speed is good. Every time I run out of tp between invigorates in long fights I want to strangle the devs already, but reading that there are people who actually are trying to see wether skill speed or crit is the best stat for monks infuriates me.[/IMG]
Odin would be perfect for the Evolve thing; he already takes the name/race/gender of whoever gets the killshot. Take it to the next step and let that player become Odin.
Add a special dungeon, maybe similar to the Odin dungeon in FFVIII, and when that player decides to become Odin a server message is sent out informing people. Perhaps work it similar to Promyvion in XI; you climb to the top and enter a waiting area before facing the boss, in this case Odin.
Take Zantetsuken away from the player and just put that on a timer. While the Odin player is waiting for actual players to reach him, NPC Adventurers could attack to allow the player to get used to playing as Odin, when real players enter the waiting area, Zantetsuken goes off and kills the NPCs.

"Professional Monk"...
They need to let us use EXP as a currency for something endgame so dungeon runs wont be so marginalized.
The monster vs player(s) thing, reminds me of monstrosity from FFXI.

They'll say anything to rationalize the useless Skill Speed. I liked the questions in this interview a lot.
Skill Speed, more so on Monk, would be semi-OK if they actually made Army's Paeon as useful as Mage's Ballad. Why on Earth we still can't see party members TP is beyond me. This was an issue in XI, and they've still left it broken all the way into ARR... Is it incompetent to have not fixed an issue for over a decade? I feel we need a stronger word...
