Such naive optimism. People really think main scenario roulette will be run by older players if cutscenes are made unskippable?

If one person is a firstitimer (who demands this), then they should be forced to form their own groups to satisfy said demand.
Conditional parties is the key purpose of PF and has absolutely no place in DF.
When DF parties are established, the people must agree at the start how the dungeon will proceed, whether it is how big pulls will be, or which healer focuses on the MT, or yes, even cs skipping. Deal with this truth. Or don't and do your own thing in the run. Or don't agree and exit. Nobody should be capable of forcing you to skip cutscenes. That is your perogative. It is the party's perogative as well to not sit on their thumbs for 15 minutes- so don't be so shocked if you exit a cs to see the hallway ahead, empty of enemies.
As many have said report them. This is against the rules of the kick system and Square seems pretty big about punishing people for doing this. But just to play devil's advocate.
5-10 minutes is literally almost half the duration of the whole dungeon. You can complete these things in 15-20 minutes easily. So saying your going to add half that time on in idle time doesn't really support the "it isn't a big deal" argument.
Again I'm with you on this I personally (back when I still ran these in 2.0 for philo to get darklight) just let them watch their cutscenes and cleared the way. Long as they clearly were new (aka they weren't in like half darklight or something) I never had a reason to say anything.
Similar experience here. Running CM and Prae was the worst time I've ever had in an MMO. After getting locked out of the first boss for watching the cutscenes, I skipped the rest. The miserable experience was no fault of other players, or myself, but solely on SE for endorsing the behavior found within. They really need to implement some measures for accommodating runs, such as no skipping when first-timers are in (a risk you take when signing up for the dungeon), or a party-wide confirmation to skip scenes.
By doing nothing, endgame experiences have only been worse for me, ultimately leading me to ONLY run things with my FC and friends, and later quitting the game. Sure, I'm just another drop in the bucket, but bad implementation promotes bad behavior. It's not rocket science, SE. Since players WILL NOT come to a universal consensus on this topic, it's up to SE to make something that works for everyone, and there have been lots of good ideas thrown around.
Doing something and keeping people happy is better than doing nothing and losing the playerbase.
I plan to watch every cutscene as i get them. I don't care if i waste other players time. I run enough dungeons where full blue 50s roll need on everything they can for seals to make me care about what people other then me want.
I think the OP is more shocked at how abusive and nasty players are towards people who are going through the storyline dungeon their first time. Even if it is the internet, you should still show some basic respect towards people you encounter in the game.
And that one as well...second time it was with a guild mate and if it wasn't for him the same thing would have happened but still got locked towards the end in all boss fights even if they knew I was watching cut-scenes. I was just shocked that people didn't let one "nuisance" as I am apparently perceived (me) that only happens every once in a blue moon to enjoy what they once enjoyed.
I used to sit and wait for people to complete cutscenes. It means 45 minutes in a dungeon that can be done in 20. I now just pull and let those who want to watch finish their cutscenes while everyone else helps progress the dungeon.

Not sure why they kicked you. They don't need you to complete the dungeon. Even if you're tank or healer. You only need 1.
Not that I agree or disagree with the vote kick, but for you to say "once in a blue moon" seems to be false in my experience. I would say at least 90% of the DR I get for Story Mode has someone new in it. So for those running it daily, it could very well be EVERY run they do has someone new in it. Just a thought. And that one as well...second time it was with a guild mate and if it wasn't for him the same thing would have happened but still got locked towards the end in all boss fights even if they knew I was watching cut-scenes.
