I've done df ms dozens of. Times since I've been 50. And every time, unless the new people want to actually skip Cs, I wait for them. You wanna be a healer short? Go for it. I mean sure, most parts can be pushed through if your geared enough or the other healer. Is good enough. But how do you know?

There is no point in doing a speedrun via the party finder, as there is no reward. But there is a checkbox for a full story experience in the party finder (see where square is going with that?).

Edit: The solution would be to enable full groups for the random story dungeons. Than they could do it with the party finder.

Because, when you go df you should expect to deal with that.

I wasn't a loud mouth. I didn't say nothing apart from I am not going to skip the scenes. And that is it. Do you want me to beg for it? You seriously want me to beg people so I can have the right to watch the main story I am playing which includes scenes?

I don't believe for one second that you weren't a loudmouth, entitled brat to the rest of the party. First you said that you didn't reply and just ignored them.

One person states "Please do not watch the cutscenes". I ignore him. Then towards the end I get kicked out because I am still watching my cutscenes. I am a paying customer and I will not be forced to skip my paying content period.

As we say all the time.....doing CM or Prae for Myth is not fast....even if you're tired of Brayflox....AK, WP, Hala, Pharos, are all faster than the story roulette.

But on the other side, if I do CM or Prae and there's new people...yes it's your right to watch the CS and I cannot force you to skip them....but it's also my right to move on with the dungeon and you cannot force me to wait for you, if I have a tank I will go on.

When you let fate decide your type of group you either accept the randomization or you don't. In random groups you can get good players, bad players, impolite and impatient players. You get all walks of life because that is randomization; everything is a chance. If you want to do something such as a speed run or whatever run you feel like it like EXP run(s) then obviously make your own group with your own conditions.

Take your own advice and make a party-finder group. If you are expecting 7 strangers to carry you AND wait for you while you waste their time you're the one being selfish. Vote-kicking someone for watching cutscenes is ridiculous, but you're just as bad if you expect people who want to get through their roulette to wait 10 minutes so you can have an ~immersive experience~. Be happy you can watch all the cutscenes at an inn.

do not watch those cutscenes, stop watching them. Time is money, we can't lose time waiting for people watching cutscenes.

All se needs to do is disable Cs on he ms roulette if a first timer is in it. It makes it fair. Wanna speed Run? Too bad, pf it. Also, because it'll make a lot of people want to quit the map on entrance, if anyone quits, 1 hour lock out and take away their bonus.

It's harsh. But I hate ashole that force new players to skip. My first time in praet I ran as Dps and got left out of the first fight for watching cs. Said f that changed to healer and made them wait. Because I lucked out and Bob me and the other healer were first time.

Sure, do that. Nobody will run these dungeons anymore, and first timers will have 10+ hours to wait like they had with Cape Westwind before it was added to roulette too...

...Am I the only person in the world who got a FC group together for my first run through of CM and Prae? I didn't complain about the amount of time it took to get my FC group together either.

If there had been a PF tool back then you bet your booty that I would have tried it as well for my first run through of some things.

I don't understand the mentality of some people. They wont use PF because it takes too long to get a group, so they use DF and get mad at the people who make the que quick for them. :S

Did CM for the first time last night. I skipped all the cutscenes with no one having to ask me. There were a ton, they were 10 mins in total (I watched later at the inn and timed), and if I hadn't done that I 100% would have deserved a kick. 1 person does not outweigh 7 people.
