If there were information like "Player XXX YYY was punished with 1 month ban for forcing players to skip cutscenes" publicly avaible, every first timer harrasment in DF would IMMEDIATELY stop. Sounds like you deserved to be kicked if you "ignored" them as you yourself admit when asked to skip cutscenes. I suspect a simple reply stating that you wanted to watch them and to go ahead without you would have been plenty to keep you from being kicked. But that's not what you wanted. You expected the entire party to cater to your specific wants in the DUTY FINDER.

Primary objective which is to finish the story is primary. Secondary objective which is to acquire some loot (which I don't know what is all about) is secondary. You make that choice to enter that specific environment to accomplish those specific goals. No one is forcing you to do that or telling you that it is the only way to gear up in this game. You make the choice to re-clear something that is a story mode.

So much self-entitlement on the core design which I am playing it as is intended as the game intended it to be which is part of the main story with scenes.

Actually IT IS repeatable as many times as you like and what you were trying to do was exactly IMPOSE YOUR RULES ONTO OTHER PEOPLES PLAY MODES. You plainly state you want people to have to wait for battle until you finish your movie.

It is not required, but I don't think you quite grasp the definition of repeatable, because the story dungeons are both able to be repeated.

Story dungeons are just that - to see the story. If you can't accept this, you should be speed running brayflox instead.
I honestly don't understand why people farm story dungeons...you can get more and faster from Brayflox/Crystal tower.

Most don't farm the story dungeons, they run them once a day for their roulette, it's an easy 100 mythology.

So as the alternative, they jump into a duty finder and try to do it there and QQ when people don't cater to them. My opinion, if cutscenes are important enough to you that you can justify holding up other people for nearly an extra hour, then keep your ass in party finder for that hour and inconvenience yourself as you wait for that hour for like-minded people to join you.

No. That is your primary reason for being in there. The reason for the other 7 people is the duty roulette. If that wouldn't be the case you wouldn't get into the dungeon in the first place (or at least wait multiple hours).

The only real solution would be to make them one player instances.

Or make the CS unskipable if someone in he party is a first-timer and increase the roulette reward as a compensation for the unskipable CS
