You just don't get it obviously. If someone went ahead, he'd be here QQing about how he got left out of a fight instead of a cutscene. Op puts way too much value in his singular opinion and desires versus that of 7 other players.Yeah, and he's right. If there's a new player, I do as he says because it's his first time and he's got a right to enjoy the experience in its entierity, since first times only happen once. If I don't feel like waiting for every cutscene, I don't queue for main scenario. But if you'vereally got a fire under your ass, go ahead and leave him to watch the cutscenes. If you can't do it with one people less why are even trying to speedrun it lol. People asking others to skip cutscenes are ridiculous, there is no justification for it apart from rudeness. If they ask twice, I'll start a vote kick for harassment.
You're the one not getting it. First sentence of my post. Yes, and he's right.
Exactly. It doesn't make any sense.Story dungeons are just that - to see the story. If you can't accept this, you should be speed running brayflox instead.
I honestly don't understand why people farm story dungeons...you can get more and faster from Brayflox/Crystal tower.
You kind of an hypocrite...what you say applies to you to, arent you demanding from him not to see the content for which the instance is meant for aka story mode and obey to your orders because YOU have seen it already ? yep I repeat you an hypocrite. WHen I see peopel like you and I am in healing mode, I stay out of everything and wait with them...you know kicking a healer is kind of not an easy thing to do right ? people like you create intentionnally conflictual situations where there are no need for it.. if you dont want to face those people that are in their right more then you to demand to see somethign for which is meant for in story mode..STORY mode...you dont enter there..seems pretty simple choice isnt it ? they do have no choice but to enter, but you dont have to since you already completed it....What this reply and others like it are failing to read/comprehend is that yes, you can do it with 4 or 5 people but the OP doesn't want that. He wants it ALL HIS WAY. He expects everyone else to sit with their thumbs up their ass and not be able to start a battle until he's done with a cutscene.
Get it now?

If this is so important to you, implement the PF rule "no cutscene skipping".
I usually just carry on with the fight or wait a couple of mins for the person watching the cutscene.
Though a good option to implement what you've said, to disable boss fight when a first-timer is watching cutscene, this will lead to insufficient players queuing for that dungeon.
Difficult to balance this situation IMO.
I got lucky on my first run through there, all of the group members allowed me to watch the cutscenes without any problems and 1 of the tanks even guided me to them after I got lost cause they went on ahead.
But on the 2nd run, when I was doing my dallies, I met the complete opposite. There was 1 guy who said straight away he was new to the instance and after that, everyone just started flaming him and telling him to leave the instance, so I stepped in and told them to back off and leave him be, we all had a first time. So then they started to flame me and like 5 mins later, I get kicked from the instance lol..
So i shaked it off and went again, same thing over and over. I no-longer do it anymore, its not worth it.
to OP: It sucks to be sure. You did nothing wrong, and those who are saying you did do something wrong have stopped treating this game like a game, and have started treating it like a job.

Have fun waiting for you story dungeons (all of them) without the help of high level players and the duty roulette ...
