    Sounds like a terrible idea, and a waste of an ability slot. Not only should YOU be not dying, but your co-healer (and raisers) should be prepared to raise when necessary. Reraise would take too much penalty away from death and teamwork.

    If you believe reraise would be vital to your success in instances: Maybe you and your team should play better?

    hmmm...

    in XI, there are still alot of mobs in outworld that could rape solo players real quick, combined with the aggro mechanic there which easily links nearby mobs too. That's where reraise really useful, especially when players lucky enough to obtain Twilight Helm+Mail which grants auto reraise.

    I did took the liberty capping job that can equip those armor, and it made my life way easier.

    Unfortunately, in XIV-ARR, I don't see any mob (save for dungeons/instances) that would easily own players, unlike the old 1.0 yore where a level 99 treant will 1 hit kill you with just a touch. lol

    Thus, the use of reraise would be too much. Even for dungeons, once party passed certain check points, there would be aetherial transporter that would bring downed players easily reaching their previous demise location.

    Reraise is completly bull****.
    Looking at WoW, more classes have a battle-rezz due to the fact they changed a lot of old skills. Warlocks had a soulstone and put it on a target to let them reraise - placed on the wrong target equals fail. So it was reworked to a battle-rezz.
    Deathknight had a skill to raise a target as an undead with different skills - was to "complicated" and thus reworked into a simple battle-rezz. So, that means two non-healer classes have now a battle-rezz.
    Lokking at RIFT every healing specc has a normal raise and a battle-rezz which is totally fine. Only healers can rezz.
    FF14:ARR does go the same way - we have a rezz and a "battle-rezz" via swiftcast which is totally fine. SMN also can rezz/battle-rezz due to the same base class as SCH. Up to 3 popl being able to rezz should be enough. Or SE has to come up with mechanics like landslide from Titan, where u just CANT get rezzed in any way, but that would be ...*roll eyes*

    Hey....reraize always works on the caster only.. ^^;

    So the healer cast reraise will gain a reraize buff, like the pro, lasting for 30min.
    When you die, the screen will popup rasied msg as usual, and you still need to accept it in time to get up,
    then you will be weaken as usual.

    You cannot cast reraise on other players.

    That would be more bull**** if that would be possible.
    Still - healers should focus on staying alive and healing, dodgeing AoEs, etc. - a simple reraise is... it would just complicate everything. What if a boss should be beatable without any reraise-possibility LIKE Titan Hm where a landslide kicks you out of the fight? In any case a reraise would be kinda a lazy-buff "Oh i can die at least one time, well... let's read the news!". Also - where do you actually need a reraise? Nowhere!
    Imo reraise is a no go and should never be introduced into FF:ARR.

    I think everyone should be focus on staying alive , dodgeing AoEs, etc?
    Maybe you don't want raise as well ^^;
