Monk Discussion: End-game stats and setting your priorities straight.

I have reached 50 a few minutes ago so I went to the market to see what I can upgrade to carry on with my main story. Some had different stats so a fast google search gave me this quote,

    STR > Accuracy (to 420) > Det > Crit > Skill Speed
Is that the order of prioritizing stats? And if I had to chose between different gear pieces that is what I should have in mind?

Also some pieces on the market had only skill speed or only critical rate and one had both but obviously with less strength. I decided to focus on all gear pieces that offered all the stats I needed even though I would have lower strength from other pieces...Was that the right thing to do?

its more Accuracy (460-472 is needed for First coil for monk. Aim for 472 and you are fine) -> STR ----------> det > crit ---> SS

As a fresh lvl 50 Monk, aim for higher item level always, regardless of Substats. Once you have a high item level, you can replace your lvl 90 piece with another 90 piece for different substats~

Due to monks enhanced Internal release (25% uptime of additional 30% crit rate), and bootshine guaranteed crit- Crit's stat weight is actually drastically low for Monk. It is the same weight as SkSp, but should be prioritized SLIGHTLY over SS, due to Mnk's TP issues. However, the correct priority really comes out to STR>>>DET>>Crit >/= SS. Always take Crit, all other things equal, but don't take a bad piece with crit (Crit over det) over a good piece with SS (det over SS)

That being said-there are certain amounts of Sksp that make things more "comfortable". A misquoted break point as such is the 400 SkSp one, supposedly needed for 5 abilities in PB. As someone with 350-ish SkSp, i can guarantee that isn't true, but it certainly makes it easier. That would be the skill speed at which 5 GCDs would fit into PB NOT counting the GL3 buff which we pick up in our opener. However, I like to think that 375-380 is a real sweetspot. In my experience, it puts your demolish right at 1-2 secs left when you go to reapply, so it falls off as the debuff itself shows back up.
