    Tips for downloader

    This isn't a complaint thread or a troll thread blabla. I'm just wondering if anyone has any general tips to increase the speed of the downloader? I've always had problems with FFxiv's downloader, I've had it running from about 11am until now, and I'm only on 21%. Excited to play the patch and try all the new system etc, but It'll be time to go to get my party on before the patch is done

    I have a tip but it doesnt involve using the downloader and i dont want to risk getting banned talking about it, but if you think hard enough I'm sure you will know what I'm talking about

    To me it seems completely random at which speeds the download is going at you might as well jiggle a few chicken heads over the modem to speed it up. It's completely up to SE if you have a proper internet connection.There's not that much we can do except to hope for them to fix it.
