Precisely. It's so people can go "welp, we're going to fail this DPS check so I'm going to bail." Pros outweigh the cons huh? Can't wait for all PFs to be "X amount of DPS or your out!!!!!!" and people bailing on DFs.

Numbers do not equate to skill. Tested it on Titan Ex. He had higher DPS because he would manawall the landslides and fire extra spells. BUT, he often blew the timing and was out mid fight, where I wasn't.
