    party wave mode

    I think it would be cool to have mob wave instance. Wave after wave of harder and more numerous mobs. No hp/mp/tp refresh, or increasingly shortened time between waves. With the loot at the end dependant on how many rounds and mobs you've beaten before wiping. After a wipe you can choose to restart or finalize results. Can have different level minimums so 30's and 40's canplay together too

    This sounds like it would be a fun challenge. Imagine getting to the harder waves with tons of mobs coming at you. I like it.

    This is kind of what T4 is but that has an end to it. It could be fun to do once or twice but you would need to set it up so that you can't just flare the mobs to death or you would end up with full BLM parties.

    I think something like this would work well in CT. With a 24 person alliance, you could potentially have lots of enemies and/or lots of waves. I just try to remember that CT is supposed to be more fun than rewarding XD

    The only major problem I can see with this is just having the player's client actually handle all of those enemies. While my computer can easily handle the game without an issue, I could it as being a fun challenge .. until you get a massive amount of enemies onto the screen, which in-turn can cause catastrophic FPS drops.

    Maybe I'm just assuming everyone that plays runs on a toaster, though.

    While a lot of enemies could be fun too, I was also thinking about multiple bosses at once as well. Imagine the gates open and 2 CAD's come out.

    They could make it like WoW's solo challenge scenarios. As a DPS mobs won't attack you at all but mobs have different strengths and weaknesses you need to take care of. It's impossible to AoE everything down to death unless it's multiple small low HP enemies

    As long as there's a way to force a wave to spawn if you get too far ahead. Skirmish in XI had this problem on anything but hardest difficulty where your group stuck waiting for a whole minute at times doing nothing but 1-2 mobs until later where it decides to finally throw a good chunk of enemies at you at once.
