Novus Stats for Bard?

I am very late to upgrading my Novus, and hope this gets a reply as I am a bit nervous. I am coming up to acquiring 75 Alexandrite and have stocked piled materia. By reading this forum, it seems to me that there are strats used in T9 where you will need the 515 front acc cap, and others were you just need the 491(495?) flank acc cap. I have yet to reach T8, but I currently have 522 acc with my ilvl 98 gear. In my final gear set with Crit/Det novus, it will drop to 486 without food (495 with decent food to reach that flank acc cap, not bis food though) as I plan on ditching skill speed as much as possible.

Here's my quandary: Crit/Det/Acc (44/22/9) novus would get me the base flank acc cap for T9. Is it worth to have that small amount of acc on my novus and just have food prepared for adaptability for different strats? Or am I over thinking this and should just go all out Crit/Det and depend on food for T8-9 to reach/over cap acc?

Your only consideration is money.

If Gil is not a concern, having 9 accuracy is pretty damn wasted IMO.

Accuracy should not be an issue right now since ST pieces are pretty much accuracy based, except for Amon's hat.

Personally I will always use food to reach acc cap.

Materia used always goes in order. For example, 44 crit is 11 Crit I materia, then 11 Crit II materia, then 11 Crit III, then 11 Crit IV. That's the bare minimum you will need to get 44 Crit, but the chances of success start to go down, so unless you're extremely lucky, you will need more than that. By the 11th Crit I, you'll have a 60% chance of success. But after that, it's back to 100% for the first Crit II (12th overall). Same when you get to Crit III and IV.

For Determination which can only go up to 31, it's broken down like this: 7 Det I, 8 Det II, 8 Det III, 8 Det IV. The success rate drops more for Det, though, and the last one in each set will have 50% chance of success.

I'm reposting this helpful reply from another thread. I can confirm it is 100% accurate:

"For a 44 max stat (e.g. Spell speed), 6/11 infusions will be 100%.
It's only the last few materia of a tier that have a chance to fail. And it's not even a large chance to fail for the majority of the ones that can fail.
96%, 90%, 82%, 72%, 60% chance of success respectively.

For a 31 max stat, the odds are worse, but still not that bad for the majority of infusions. 100%, 100%, 94% ,88%, 80%, 70%, 60%,50%.

If you don't want to "risk" the last few stat points, again, look to alternative infusions or suck it up and use your wallet."

I'm ideally going 44 Crit and then splitting the remaining infusions between Determination and Accuracy. I'm just about 20ish-22 infusions of Crit in to my novus, and my only real problem is going to be the gil I need for some of my grade 3 and all of my grade 4 Crit materia. I may just start on Det/Acc and leave the remaining crit for last. I may be finished my Novus in November lol.

I really should start my Bard Novus infusion but alas i do not have all Alexandrite yet but now i can focus more on it now that i have my drg Animus.
