You missed the 2.2 patch entirely, so I would likely start with the patch notes first.

Some key things to know after that are the new speedruns. Most players are running through t1-t4 easily now. t5 and higher are more difficult, but most groups will ask for ilvl93 or higher for those if you pug them. It's not so hard considering how easy it is to get the new ilvl100 gear.The atma weapons are a huge time sink and force you to grind FATEs with a very low drop rate. I wouldn't recommend it unless you really do have the time and patience for it. That said, being able to customize relics is an expensive, time-consuming, but awesome plus. Be sure you have your relic zenith completed and equiped to unlock the quest for it and gain the drops.

You will learn to hate brayflox HM as that is the go-to speedrun for myth now. The new tome, soldiery, can be easily obtained through roulettes, although you can still speedrun brayflox for them.

Also, 72-man pvp battlegrounds are opening up in 2 weeks along with some other goodies. Also, scholars have replaced white mages as the preferred healer for endgame due to ai patches. Parties still go with both if possible, but the sch is considered more important now.
