    How to deal with homing missile as Bard with 3 meleein t8?

    I want to know how to deal with the homing missile when there is 3 melee in the group + Dread. The tether get so hard to see and very hard to grab and soetime it keep switching.

    The melee shouldn't stand so close. The circle for the boss is rather big. As long as you stay closest to avatar, you'll always be selected for homing.

    What Lunar said. Plus they don't even need to move much besides twitching to move from flank to back if they stack where the two sides meet.

    My group have 3 melee as well, but we never had problem with homing, since melee are repositioning themselves sometimes they get a bit close, our Bard doesn't really have problem seeing the tether though, might be your group is stacking too close to boss circle causing the tether to be harder to see.

    Another thing is the melee should help you out if they get tether, just run behind you and it'll pass to you, that's what we do in my group. So even if you are not the one chosen it should not actually cause a problem, either you grab it by running in-front of the one with tether or they move behind you.

    I think the solution to this problem is pretty simple. You can either:

    1. If it lands on a melee, they just go to the side of the boss the party isn't on for their next flank attack.

    2. Assign a specific melee to grab the tether every time and then do 1.

    Melees can easily grab the tether without sacrificing uptime on the boss at all. They might miss one positional requirement on the way, so Monks are better for the job since they're less punished for it.

    It's not hard, the melee are just being lazy, the movement needed is very small, our bard never ask us to do it, we just does it naturally since it just require a small movement on the melee part.

    Or like Donjo said just have the melee does homing, regardless of it being a pug or static, everyone suppose to co-operate to help each other,if they don't I dunno how they gonna handle other mechanics that might also need someone to backup on

    i do tethers/jacks and spawn dreds after jack as drg and still hit 405-415.....imo make the drg do it
