This is why sidequests need to reset when you switch to another class/job. SE is trying to keep FATES relevant with the relic weapon but overall the majority of FATES are just empty, which is natural as the majority of the population moves to end game content. The same thing happened in GW2 with their random events. I think FATES just should of been a form of NM/HNM content over what they are currently.

I recently leveled THM on my alt for the same reason. The best advice I can give is try to always have a resting bonus. And use food that gives extra XP. Do that while you're doing normal leveling stuff like roulette (don't forget guildhest roulette btw), leves, hunting logs, Fates, etc. It helps a lot.

Great ideas here. Additionally, very easy to get the FATE challenge log bonus (do fates in five different areas I believe), the commend bonus, and others that are sometimes forgotten (like the extra experience you and your Choco get for killing x number of mobs together).

(2) Fate farming with those of us looking for our Atma stone. I've been lucky enough to get 2 Atmas without really working at it yet, so you'll be in good company with those level 50 folks who are running around from fate to fate trying to grab a drop. Don't be afraid to stand back and throw a couple of lobs just to be part of the fate, even if you're lower level. Get in there, cause some guy with a Zenith weapon is in there, smacking and cracking.

Look in PF to find out where a group is farming Atma. If the FATE level is high enough above yours and they're popping quickly you can level up pretty fast.

Seems the devs had this in mind to keep endgame players doing FATEs.

If you're in a FC or have some friends playing, see if someone can party with you to tank or heal. It's honestly the only way I could stay sane leveling my Thm those last few levels.
