omg how do you dps level?

I am having a hard time power leveling my THM to 26 for swift cast... currently lvl 20 and while queueing for dungeons i am trying to find fates but no one does them.. I was told lvl 20 range to do quarymill but that is pretty empty from what I have been seeing.. leves seem to be a waste of an allowance for battle also.

The only thing you can do really would be to queue up for dungeons (low level DR is a good chunk of exp) and run around doing fates or leves on your own until the next zone.

There's an overabundance of DPS and not enough tanks/healers and all this will get worse due come Rogue/Ninja and beef up DPS queue times (expect 5+ rogue FATE parties)

Levemetes + scavenging FATEs of any possible level while waiting forever on queue times, something that I also do is click that "Join group in progression" box (something like that) specially for low lvl roulette daily.

I understand the surplus of DPS and neither blame them or think things should be better for them.. but the outside world is so inactive that there needs to be some pain relief.. Fates scale based on how many people participated... but since it doesnt adjust automatically and only on who did it last it can be really hard to solo sometimes.. especially when you are queued for a dungeon and can not use Mr.Chocobo.

Do your hunting log for the Levels 20-30. Should give you almost if not a complete level. Also do Agenda stuff with that character to receive the EXP bonus you are granted for completion.

Yeah a lot of the time while I'm waiting for duty to register ill do guildleves or flameleves for my grand company and if I've got no allowances left ill do odd fates or hunting logs etc

Nowadays peoples may not do FATE alot ?

Another way is go Q up Dungeon and leveling there, hope you find kind PT that kind enough to sweep everything inside, not skip it

OR ask your friends to do it with you one per day etc.

Yeah I used to fate grind but I got to the point where I'd wanted to just die haha so I mixed it up with leves and logs etc all while waiting for duties keeps things fresh

I did the same thing for SwiftCast and I leveled up fast. Here are three quick ways to level up: (1) There are dungeons that will level you almost in one pass, like Tam Tara Deepcroft, Halatali and Copperbell Mines. Put yourself in those queues and wait. Yes, you can't use your Chokobo to help you in fates, but you can use it to run back and forth while you wait. (2) Fate farming with those of us looking for our Atma stone. I've been lucky enough to get 2 Atmas without really working at it yet, so you'll be in good company with those level 50 folks who are running around from fate to fate trying to grab a drop. Don't be afraid to stand back and throw a couple of lobs just to be part of the fate, even if you're lower level. Get in there, cause some guy with a Zenith weapon is in there, smacking and cracking. (3) Hunting logs. They are so underrated and so freaking easy. Google the log, go to the spot, kill the prey, move on to the next. You'll get so many XP for so little work. - Enjoy!

Challenge Log and Hunting Log are your friends lol Leves are a pretty good source of XP too. I was lucky enough to pair up with a WHM, so I had support. <.<
