Story falls apart at the end...

Party Finder and LS/FC mates are your friend. It's unfortunate that it has to come with that, but it is true that there are legitimate arguments from both sides as to what is acceptable. The best way to get what you want out of a run is use those tools. I'm sorry you missed out on that opportunity, but now you know what to expect for the next iteration of Story Quests.

Well for primal fights for story wise they should play all the cs before the actual fight then when you que duty finder for whichever primal you get the basic intro cs of them just my 2 cents.

Have you actually tried this? For the last story dungeons, it doesn't work. As in half of the cutscenes aren't there to be watched, probably because they have your party members in the background. You get maybe 3 cutscenes available to watch in the inn for the last mission and miss out on the bulk of the story.

Yes, we have actually. It does work. The problem is people think that ALL of the cutscenes are linked to the quest, when they are not. Some are, but the rest are part of the dungeon itself. Part are under the specific quest, the other part under the duty section for that dungeon. They're all there.

What people can't seem to figure out is that the cutscenes aren't in the main scenario quest. Look up the dungeon itself and they are all there. you just need to do a little digging.

The problem is that doing these quests "as intended" watching everything can take well over an hour. I've done main scenario runs where we finish bosses before people finish cutscenes. This is not only a testament to how long they are but how faceroll simple the "final bosses" are. 20 minutes of dungeon and 45 minutes of story is a quirky setup. What I typically do is I say watch the cutscenes if you like but they are very long and the other 6/7 of us are gonna keep going without you. None of these fights are that difficult or impressive so you're not missing anything

All those saying go to the inn, how about just no.
A player going through the game for the first time has every right to watch the cutscenes you lose immersion otherwise.
If people don't want to wait that's their issue, if your that desperate for to screw others over for a few myth that says more about you than a player watching cutscenes.

They're not actually THAT long, just people tend to be slow readers imho.

It really doesn't bother me if someone wants to watch them. Those dungeons can be 4 manned now so if you got one guy wanting to watch them then let him. Don't need to stop progressing through the fights though.

I was lucky way back when I did mine and the group happily did this for me.

How many more times? There is NEITHER a right to watch cutscenes (if there was, good luck finding anyone to do castrum...) NOR is there a right to speedrun. There are dozens of threads about that now. Please use the search function, this has figuratively been debated a hundred times over.

Actually, technically there is a right to watch them. That's sort of the point of them being there in the first place and having to intentionally opt out of them.
