So, basically, the Ascians. Who work against the Light and seem to view the world as being out of balance.

But that's the thing. If the Ascians really were the Warriors of Darkness, they wouldn't work against the Light. They'd instead cooperate with the light and ensure that the balance of light and darkness was kept. At least as far as Lahabrea was concerned, the Ascians (other than that one white-robed emissary) don't really seem all that interested in cooperation moreso than they are with reviving Zodiark to supplant Hydaelyn as the guardian force of the world, which is not at all what the Warriors of Darkness would do, unless they're just as ignorant as the Warriors of Light are.
Recall though that Lahabrea was seen as a radical. The White Ascian disproved of his methods. Like most "movements" there are those who try to go through diplomacy and others who try to go through force. But that's the thing. That being said, Elidibus was reprimanded by his colleague for acting on his own and outside The Plan™. To at least one other Ascian, Elidibus is the radical.
Not quite. From what we can tell She is the spirit of aether in the land rather than the land itself. The world would exist without Her, but would probably not be able to habour conventional life.
I say probably, because it's clear there are things we don't know about Her yet.
No, I mean. The planet is Hydaelyn. As in that's it's name. "The Land is alive". Assuming she is basically the lifestream, it is a very safe assumption that "the Land" (Note that in the official lyrics it's capitalized- it's a proper noun. That is important.) and "Hydaelyn" as the floating space crystal are basically usable interchangably. Hydaelyn is alive- as the lifestream, she is basically the consciousness of the planet. Not quite.
