Issue: Characters with Bazaar icons indicate their Bazaar is active, yet their only wares consist of outrageously priced items.

It is clear these characters are just storing or organizing these items. The way FFXIV handles this misrepresents their activity, leading to many useless bazaar icons when that very player is actually not interested in selling anything. As an example, I could see five players with bazaar icons and only one of these five would be operating a genuine bazaar instead of a temporary storage bin.

I can understand how valuable those ten extra slots of storage can be to some players, which is why my feedback as to how to fix this scenario will include compensating for these lost slots.

Feedback:
  1. Instead of removing the bazaar item from the primary inventory, color-code the item (randomly choosing a color for this example: light pink) and keep the item in the primary inventory - the color code will indicate this particular item/stack is in bazaar mode.

  2. Increasing to 109 or higher from 99 current inventory capacities, if warranted.

  3. A simultaneous addition of superior alternative(s). Mailboxes and Mog Houses, *hint*.

  4. For fans of Unsorted inventories, implement a "Move Item" functionality to enable manual reorganization should the player so desire.

Please note that the feedback's intention here is to abate the current practice of using Bazaar as a means of storage. Any negatives incurred can clearly be offset or remedied (as seen in feedback 3). Suggestions, feedback, and random comments are welcome.
