This whole situation is what I call the: "Goldilocks Paradox"!

We're are too divided as a community as far as what we want. Throw us all together and we can't agree. It's hard to find others that want to approach the game with the same interest level as one's self.

Seems to me that some people just don't want to try very hard and others want to try very very hard. Throwing those people together just leads to frustration. Then there is the third group. They want to project they are trying very hard to fit in with the "hardcore" people, but really aren't and want to get all volatile to any "help" they might receive (because it might ruin the illusion? I have no idea). I think judging one's own interest level is necessary to hang in this game. Because asking for nerfs all the time isn't a solution in the long run. I think a better solution is if they found a way to bunch us up better with people that have the same interest level. Wanting to be casual is a perfect approach, but just have to pair up with some casual people that are just as casual as you. Throwing in some "hardcore" or some people that "think" they are hardcore isn't going to help you. They bail at the first sign of trouble while a casual person might just enjoy wiping until they get it. Mixing groups of people with different interest levels just leads to unpleasantness than none of us enjoy.
