I would Like to answer questions people have about atma/animus/novus

I have finished the novus brd bow and am seeing a lot of confusion. Between the different threads there seems to be a lot of back and forth about what is what, so I am making this thread to fix that. Please ask away

Doing MNK weap, was going full Det/Crit but with thought and looking at the prices of materia IVs for crit and det, thought that might be better (and saner:P) to go Det/Crit and 19 Skill speed or Acc. As the difference in det and Crit would make less than a noticeable difference for either a retarded amount of gil (4-5mill) or a retarded amount of SBiing to get the IVs.

are u able to buy your animus weapon from the npc? (for glamour)

im no mnk expert but id recommend no matter what to max det with how the weapons are you are adding any stat at a 1 to 1 pt ratio, which det should always be the strongest. I did 11 acc so that I could max out crit at 33 which ends the t3 tier. I did that because I needed acc not so much for cost though. I'd rather say it as do what works best for ur stats dont worry so much about cost.

But 10 det adds practically close to 0 DPS anyways. Thats my point XD. Also with the Acc on the weap I can lose acc on another piece. Like an accessory

Looking at bg its your highest rated secondary stat, but you are always better off tailoring the weapon to your personal needs. If that means for you that you can swap to a diff acc to gain more stats it could be your better way to go.

I'm still working on getting my animus at the moment, is there anything I could be doing in the meantime that will quicken and lighten my workload for novus?

sadly no kiyo because you cannot get the daily map quest until you are on novus and are currently using myth for books to finish the animus

Oh very nice of u, where my queries are:-

1. 2 Animus Players with 1 Alexandite map each.
Do we get 2 Alexandite each for completion of maps? or juz 1 each?

2. 75 infusion = 75 stats pt?
so its not required to do e.g det 31/31? as long we fulfil 75 infusions?

3. Did u use all Materia 1 or a mixture of materia?

4. Use of Materia 4 give a higher increase in stats or it was e same after all?
