    Duty Roulettes: Weekly accumulated bonus instead of daily

    Once upon a time, there was a game. And in this game, we had a daily dungeon roulette. But the bonus tokens we got for that roulette wasn't daily. It was WEEKLY. Instead of having to log on every day to do the dungeon, you had instead 7x the bonus per week.

    You could do it once a day, normally. You could do a marathon and get all 7 bonuses in the first day. You could do 3 on saturday and 4 on sunday. You could do 4 in a day which you happen to be free and 1 per day in the other ones. And eveybody was happy.

    Now... wouldn't it be SWELL to have it in Final Fantasy XIV also? You could dictate the pace in which you play and get your tokens, instead of being obliged to log in every day or lose your bonus. What do you guys think? =)

    The game you mention also removed the feature as people complained about being burnt out doing them all so once to use up their 7 bonuses

    Make it an extra bonus; not the only bonus.
    Do 5x dailies within the same week, you get a nice, big bonus by doing a special roulette that would unlock afterwards. In the range of around 500-1000 myth I'd say.

    But why stop there, add a coil roulette for T1-4.
    It's a breeze in there as it is with echo. Almost laughably easy.

    The purpose of roulettes are to help newbies/lowbies with their lower content, while rewarding you for it (expert and high level ones apart, because they're there so people do different dungeons and get bonus rewarded for it instead of spamming bray-nkiller) with items you need in your end-game play. If most of players would keep their roulette entries for the last days of the week to cap tokens, all the people that need trials, dungeons and guildhests for story purposes or leveling up, would be in hours of queues during the week.

    This. The roulette isn't FOR you, Mr. Endgame, or you, Mr. I Have a Busy Job. The roulette exists to fill dungeons for newbies whenever they exist and the bonus is to incentivise people to run them. The one guy in your party who queued for that duty directly thanks you.

    What about a bonus added for doing every daily roulette? Once you complete each daily that day, you then have a bonus of X Myth and Gil.

    Could be added to the challenge log for a daily conquest. Resets each day.

    Thanks, but everyone already knows this. This isn't what it's all about, but...
    This would only help that same cause, by drawing in more participation from those "Mr. Endgame" or "Mr. I have a Busy Job" crowds more, as you put it.

    In the end, people would have even shorter queue's for the roulettes.
    I think they're fairly short currently. Even as DPS, I tend to get in within 5-10 minutes. Naturally as tank/heal, you get in almost instantly.

    But that's a pretty preposterous affirmation. It was completely optional do do all 7 runs in the first day. The whole POINT of the system is to give liberty to people. If someone says they feel FORCED to do all 7 runs on the first day, that's not the system's fault at all. It is designed to do the OPPOSITE.

    THIS. That affirmation (that roulettes are not meant for "Mr. Endgame", so screw you and your needs) is pretty short-sighted. During the week, I can barely do the trials roulette, some days not even that. If I had a way to accumulate my bonuses, I'd run much more roulettes on the weekend, which would help much more people than me doing just one.

    You say like the current system incentivizes endgamers to log in more often, but that is not the case. People who can't login cuz of job, wife, et cetera simply WON'T, no matter what bonuses they have. If the bonuses are accumulated for the week, they can run 4 low level roulettes on saturday, helping 12 people to level instead of just 3. See the point?

    Never said it was a bad Idea... I for one always done them on first day, but their forums were flooded with people moaning so they removed it and changed to once a day
