Stuck at Lady of the Vortex for two plus weeks

If this is your first time with her, unless you have a team of folks who have "been there before", I can see having problems. The tank really needs to keep her to one edge. When the plumes come, EVERYONE ELSE needs to take them out immediately. You'll see in the text are that she's releasing them, so kill them fast. If you don't have enough stone to hide behind, you won't make it through the 3rd round. They attack the stones. When Garuda goes up, get to the opposite side of a stone pillar from where she lands or you're toast. It's really not that hard once you beat it, but if the tank is not doing the right job and DPS do not destroy the plumes IMMEDIATELY, no amount of talent will get you through the final blast of wind. Hope you made it. As a DPS, I went after those plumes with full abandon and as a healer, I went to Cleric to help. I can't stress how important those are.

This is first of the trials heavilly relying on mechanics and team cooperation - see usefull tips above from TheFluffyCat. You're not alone - I was stuck on this Bia... Erm ... Lady for many weeks as well purelly because after while I've been tired of trying and failing constantly so I did something else (crafting) in the meantime

Ouch. I managed it after a few tries, but it was never this bad for me. Too bad you're not on my server, or else I could grab some of my friends to carry.

Hated this boss. That said we killed her third try (same party, 2 previous wipes) with only the healer and tank standing lol. I lasted until very near the end when my health just wasn't high enough to withstand one of her little attacks. I think the white mage was healing the tank pretty much exclusively at that point and my potion was on cooldown. But it was first time in for three of us, so I think third try wasn't bad. We made it to very near the end with a full party, it was just the last sliver of health that the tank had to dps.
I live in Australia and even though I'm on a Japanese server,my latency isn't great which always makes these harder fights a pain in the rear. I ran out of titan's landslides the instant they appeared and was on the other side of the map and they still hit me in the titan fight... sigh. Endgame won't be for me unfortunately I'll just die repeatedly o_O with death by lag.

Thanks persistence and perseverance it was finally accomplished the tank and hlr did a superb job kept us all alive very, very challenging.
