Nice, whatever SE has done in 1.18, I've noticed a dramatic increase in gamepad autorun sensitivity, to the point where other than the slightest directional adjustment stops autorun. This is just so annoying ><

Please, SE, reduce the sensitivity on this to back what it was pre-patch. Yes, I can deal with it, but the difference is very noticeable, and just the slightest jerky movement on the gamepad directional interrupts autorun.
i thought it was just me. I've been using the 360 afterglow. It's always been like this for me though.
If i try to steer while auto-run is going the slightest movement will stop you. It sux so bad sometimes i just switch to keyboard lol.
ive not noticed this :/
Using a ps3 controller with motionin joy and having no such issue, I think everyone should state what controller and what program if applicable
Using a logitech gamepad F310 and having no issue.
Yes I do have a My Little Pony sig because I'm not a complete loser who lives in his own little world, proclaiming something is stupid because I say so.
I'm using a 360 gamepad, and just pulled off a 90 degree turn, no problems. Might be a setting you've got running, maybe? :/
Hmmm not sure i'll mess around with it. I've got the vibration checked to on & calibrate to 0.2 in the FF14 settings. (Update: Calibrate set to 0.5 seems to be making a noticeable difference)
Edit: Old thread i found that might help someone.
