This is badly wrong

1) BRD LB does not depend on your stats. In fact, healer LB restores a fixed % of HP at tier 1, tier 2 (30 and 70% respectively iirc) and fully heals (+raise) at tier 3

2) songs are not affected by your mind. They give a fixed % of MP/TP

3) piety does so little to your mana pool when you're not a mage that it would be pointless to rely on that to increase song's effectiveness.

No, they wouldn't. INT directly affects Attack Magic Potency 1:1 and MND directly affects Healing Magic Potency 1:1 for every weapon.

No, don't be silly. But throwing is a ranged attack. GLA/LNC/MRD have attacks that hit from a distance of 15y. That classifies them as ranged attacks. DEX does not directly affect the damage of any ranged attacks even though that is what the current tool-tip states it does.

DEX increases the Attack Power (AP) of Bows 1:1 and STR increases the AP of every other weapon 1:1. Physical melee and ranged attacks use AP along with Weapon Damage, Determination and enemy defenses/resistances to calculate damage dealt. If you equip a sword and cross ARC skills you need STR to raise your AP for your ARC skills. If you equip a bow and cross GLA skills you need DEX to raise your AP for your GLA skills.

Wrong, but more right than the other guy.

From some thing I mocked up a month ago:

Paeon is 30/tic. BV Paeon is 60/tic.
Ballad is 79/tic. BV Ballad is 158/tic. Regardless of Piety. Same on a WAR BLM or SCH tested.
Foe Requiem is 10% magic damage boost. BV Foe is 20%.
The effects of BV are not gained on yourself; a BV Paeon BRD still only gets 30/tic from their own Paeon.

BV can be popped before or after song goes up (so after is always better), and boosted effects are lost when BV wears off. Essentially the song buff continually refreshes for the duration.

Paeon and Requiem consumed 133 MP/tick, regardless of whether or not BV was on or off and regardless of weakness. Ballad consumed 80/tick. There is a short tick up (natural MP gain) then a tick down (song cost). So either Ballad costs less than other songs and has no self-benefit, or it costs more (159/tick) and the 80/tick is just a net loss. The distinction is unimportant.

As the STR enhance Attack for MNK, DEX for Ninja could enhance Critical hit rate/damage, making this stats usefull for a non ranged job.
