Lack of LB

maybe it's just a pet peeve of mine, but I don't understand why I go through so many runs as a healer/tank class where the DPS never use the LB, not even on the last boss.

It's easy and if used properly can shave a decent amount of time off the run.

Why are people so resistant to using the LB?

because some people complain if it is used at the wrong time. If you complain enough people will stop doing it unless they are told.

I think many DPS do not pay attention on the LB bar...just remind them to use .
But don't just say "LB", as I had received a heal LB... suggest to say "DRG LB" "BLM LB" concretely.. ^^;

Pretty much everything that's been said here, either people do not notice it or the wrong person uses it. I've seen so many complaints about it that I am hesitant to use it in harder content unless I specifically see "DRG LB". Hell, I used a 3 LB on Garuda HM the other night and I had a BLM insulting me for it even though we beat her. Then on the very next run with another group I was told multiple times to do it.

I asked a summoner to use LB the other day in Wander's Palace to kill the big pull before the last boss, after not using it and we kill the group he explained that he didn't have room for it on his action bar. I felt bad for him, told him how to get more action bars and he said he knew, but played with a controller and doesn't want to swap bars, so he just loads 8 skills/macros on the first set and only uses those.

As a controller user I don't ever have the LB on my main hotbar. I've accidentally used it one too many times because of that. So I have it on page 2 instead. It's just an RB tap away though, so no excuse not to do this.

SMN especially needs multiple cross hotbars. One for main dps spells, one for pet spells and one for less used abilities like Res, LB etc.

I ran stone vigil with a healer who would lb every time we got one bar. Even on the last set of trash right before the second boss. I asked, "why do you do that?" No response. 5 minutes later, "I don't know. People just like to btch." Then he says, "MT." We had a melee on the group too.
