House districts all empty?

Hi,

I'm just wondering if its just my server...but the housing wards are like ghost towns. I go from house to house seeing if i can find anyone there but they all seem to be open to the public but empty???

What do you think SE could add that will make the wards more appealing?
furniture with storage???

Wards on Balmung, at least lavender beds, are very busy. People out and about and inside as well. Granted it is an RP server so that probably has something to do with it.

Might just be your server. I play on a relatively well-populated server (one of the bigger EU ones anyway) and frequently see people derping around in the wards. We also get a lot of invaders at our fc house =P

On pheonix limsa wards are full, gridania a mixed bag, ul'dah is all but empty though
One ward only has one house used

My house is near a market board and retainer bell and I frequently see people crafting nearby or just hanging out and I'm in the 5th ward of Mist. Maybe its just your server?
Or maybe its because it's Uldah? Our Uldah housing area was pretty dead too with barely any houses bought. I think most people just love Gridania/Limsa's housing.

Do you mean that people in the FC that owns the house aren't usually in the house? I know that's true of my FC house. We don't have a lot of active members and when we're online we're usually doing dungeons. We really only gather in the FC house if we're doing RP.

Ul'dah is definitely the least popular of the wards, but I got in there because the lots around the middle are all nice (I got the one right next to the waterfall)

On Hyperion, Ul'dah ward 2 just filled the last plot of land, and I regularly see people hanging out in the centre area by the AH board. Just seems to be everyone's spot. I dont go looking through other people's houses so I dont know if there's people in there, but quite a few of us hang out in the Goblet when we're not doing something in particular.

On Goblin its pretty full in MIst and Lavender Beds, The Goblet however is as usual, lackluster in design and homeowners.

I see people outside my house in the Lavender beds all the time.

Also, the only reason to be at the house is to idle between runs or craft. So many guilds are off actually doing things instead of sitting at home doing nothing. Realistically do you expect people to just be idling at home for the sake of idling? Right now the primary thing to do in this game is run dungeons and trials. Those things distinctly take you away from the home. Any content that keeps you at home would seem like content designed to waste my time or it's involved with crafting.

That said my guild wastes a ton of time at our house, but I can't be surprised no other guilds do the same.

And while not overly busy, Lavender Beds is pretty filled up on Hyperion as well. Been a while since I've checked the lists, but last time I recall looking ward 1 is full, and I think some of the other wards are near full.
