It's available in the configuration.
No they didn't. thread over
LOL in B4 LOCK
Seems they disabled it, even though it's still an option it does nothing. I spot mob, target mob, draw weapon/s and run to it, but no auto lock on engages.
Lets hope they fix this, for now manual lock on is the only way to go.
I'll bump this, since it seems to be true.

I made a thread about this as well titled "engaging in patch 1.18 seems clumsy" so I'm on your side.
Not raging at developers or think they're idiots just think a simple right click to initiate attack and lock on would be nice and left click to select enemy would be good change (not trying to WoW clone combat mechanics, just suggestion)
perhaps fixable in patch 1.18a? hope so O.O!
Doesn't auto-lock for me either, option in settings on or not. Have to manual every time.

It DOES auto lock, but only after a skill is used. Before, you locked on as soon as you entered combat because your basic attack is a skill. However, after the patch, your auto attack isn't considered a skill, and won't lock on until you use an actual skill from your bar. It needs to be fixed so that auto attack trigger lock on.
I seriously JUST noticed this and was going to come here to correct myself. Still an issue that needs fixing. I don't always start with a skill and would like AA to AT.It DOES auto lock, but only after a skill is used. Before, you locked on as soon as you entered combat because your basic attack is a skill.
