    Just checked and nope, it's still the middle post. Also you can't fly up and land on it, mount won't land. Also also since flying is a thing now, you can't use your mount to make the jump because "oops I guess I'm flying now!" Unless there's a way to disable flying that I'm unaware of.

    There is, I think in Character Configuration, you can change it so you have to "double jump" to fly.
