iLvl question

New 50 here working through my relic quest and confused about iLvl calculation. I am on Titan HM so reaching for a 57 iLvl. Everything I've seen online (I have researched the topic) says it's a straight formula of the sum of item levels divided by number of slots. This formula gives me 58.4 if I count bow twice and 57.5 if I count bow once. However, character screen shows 56 so of course I can't do titan. I will be able to soon but I'm just curious if I should be able to now or if I'm missing something. My items are: 90, 70(bow), 55x6, 50x4. Thanks everyone.

You need to count bow only once so 690 / 12 = 57.5 but I think it will cut of decimals down to 57 only (instead of rounding it up to 58). Do you have any of the items "broken" / at 0% status by any chance?

EDIT:

OK - it seems I've been wrong - at that case it would be 760 /13 = 58.5 (rounded from 58.46...) which should result in 58 iLVL

So - again - recheck your iLVL on all gear items and accesories.

EDIT 2:

After looking at your Lodestone profile to double check - it shows your Bow as iLVL 55 (NOT 70 as you claim) which will then result in:

730 / 13 = 56.15 -> e.g. correctly calculated iLVL of 56

Negative, no items are broken. That was the first thing I checked too.

No, bow is counted twice. Just double-check all your ilevels.

2H weapon slot, regardless of class is ilvl x2. Everything else counts once.

I have no idea where I got that my bow was 70...thanks for the tip lol. Sorry about the pointless thread...
